Our Services

As with most organizations, when churches are looking for help with issues challenging them, they are not particularly interested in a dissertation into the challenges of churches in the 21st Century.  They are interested in real world applications that are understandable and actionable. Our goal is to work with you to identify those concerns that you bring to us but also causation factors and other considerations that might not have been previously identified. The challenge is to reduce all the research and process into a manageable report that contains demographic, psychographic and measures of church health and spiritual health into an actionable plan that is easy to understand and easy to share with your church membership.

Comprehensive Consultation

No church is too big or too small for our comprehensive consultation services. It is our goal to help you better understand and develop methods to connect to the neighborhood around your church and the greater community beyond the doors of your church.

We use a four-part approach to help you in the comprehensive evaluation of your church:

• Leadership: If the leadership team in an organization is not functioning well or is in crisis, it is difficult to address the other concerns in the organization. As part of our consultation, we meet with the leadership of the church to understand their perceptions, concerns, fears and optimism. We offer assessment tools to help leaders better learn their strengths and challenges, we can offer on-site interviews with leaders and church members. Once the assessment is complete, we can offer resources and references for follow-up coaching to help with the implementation of the recommendations provided in the consultation report.

• Congregation: We have access to church health reports that measure the spiritual strength of your congregation and some of the perceptions of your church membership. The report is comprehensive and provides you a roadmap as to better address the concerns identified in the report but to also provide spiritual comfort, confidence and challenges to the members of your congregation.

• Community: Churches are often shocked and surprised to learn that their view of the community around the church may be quite dated and out of touch with the people who now live in the community. Areas of financial demographics, population distribution, ethnic and racial distribution and what the members of the community feel about their faith and the church universal.

• Security: In today’s world, churches in North America are no longer free from the evil of violence. So much so that there are secular companies available to provide security assessments and develop policies for your church. We believe that a Christ-centered process of security assessment is a first place to start. Our philosophy is biblically based and can provide you with the roadmap to move farther into developing a security program as you desire. As part of the comprehensive consultation, we also include a narrative with specific insights and easy to understand examples and insights that will include a specific process for addressing recommendations, a review of visitor impressions of your church, we will evaluate your financial and growth history as well as analyze staff resources and perceptions, feedback from the on-site listening group sessions, and the identification of any challenges, brick walls and opportunities for church growth and recommendation for coaching if needed. We believe that our service is a mission to Christ’s Church. We are committed to provide you real world answers to help your church move forward.

Practical Consultation Plan

One of the great opportunities of the 21st Century is how technology has grown all around us and the world has grown smaller through computer and video technology.  As a result, we offer a lower cost option for churches that can not afford a complete consultation to still gain benefit of the research, evaluations and survey materials that would be found in the full, comprehensive evaluation.

  • We can assist you with the completion of a self-evaluation instrument for your leadership to use to measure their strengths and challenges.
  • This plan includes the same demographic, psychographic and church health survey information as the comprehensive plan.
  • We will work with your church staff to gather the necessary information such as financial history, attendance history and other information related to your church to provide an evaluation of the past and current church activity and financial condition as well as predictive information to be combined with the other information collected to form the recommendations in the final report for you to consider for improvement and growth potential.
  • You will be provided with a complete and comprehensive written consultation report.
  • The plan affords you the opportunity for two online consultation sessions. The first one takes place as an initial interview and the second is upon your receipt of the final report.
  • There is an optional and additional option of providing a virtual security assessment.
  • There is an optional and additional option of conducting a virtual facility assessment if so desired that will be facilitated by one of our partners.

How Much?

The practical consultation is priced based on church size and need. This cost is considerably lower than an on-site comprehensive evaluation.  We generally suggest that the comprehensive consultation is preferable because of the on-site visit and face-to-face interaction but we realize that not all churches can afford this option.  For that reason, we provide the practical consultation option.

Where Do We Start and How Long?

For the practical consultation, we can generally get started with the gathering of church data and providing you with a contract outlining church and consultant obligations within 72 hours. You can set up the initial phone appointment through our contact page by clicking here.  Once we get your approval and the payment, our staff will have your results back to you within 55 days or less.

Other Services

Our staff members have experience with organizations, especially church organizations that may require a specialized part of a church operation but not an entire consultation.  For that reason, we do offer limited assistance in the following areas.

  • Strategic Planning
  • Church Revitalization and Replanting
  • Strategies for church growth
  • Working on developing mission and vision statements
  • Working with the community
  • Staff changes and transitions, especially pastors
  • Assessing the church leadership team
  • Policy review and assessment (organizational not legal)
  • Assisting interim pastors
  • Planning for the arrival of the called pastor.
